Doorknocker Terms & Conditions

Version 2026.08 · Pin to Pro

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a door knocker application to Pin to Pro ("Pin to Pro," "we," "us," or "our") and receiving referrals through our platform, you ("Doorknocker," "Door Knocker," "you") agree to be bound by these Doorknocker Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not submit an application or accept any referrals.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Pin to Pro and take effect on the date your application is approved and your account is activated.

2. What Pin to Pro Is

Pin to Pro is a lead referral marketplace that connects field agents ("Doorknockers") who knock doors with home service vendors ("Vendors") and homeowners who need home improvement services.

As a Doorknocker, your role is to canvas neighborhoods, identify homeowners who may need a service, and submit those properties as leads through the Pin to Pro app. When a homeowner confirms interest via opt-in and a Vendor closes a paid job from your lead, you earn a referral fee.

Pin to Pro facilitates the matching of leads to nearby Vendors, tracks the status of each lead, and processes the payment and payout of referral fees.

3. Doorknocker Account & Approval

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Pin to Pro reviews each application and may approve, delay, or reject applications at its sole discretion.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup, including your full name, contact information, and W-9 tax information. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate rejection or termination.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Lead Submission & Conduct

You agree to submit only legitimate leads — properties where you have made contact with a homeowner or left information at the door, and where the homeowner may genuinely need the service. Submitting fabricated, duplicate, or non-existent properties is a material breach of these Terms.

You may not misrepresent Pin to Pro, the Vendor, or the service to a homeowner, and you may not make promises or commitments on behalf of any Vendor.

You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations regarding door-to-door canvassing, including any permit or licensing requirements and no-solicitation restrictions.

5. Referral Fees

When a lead you submit results in a closed, paid job ("Closed Won"), you earn a Referral Fee. The Referral Fee is determined by the final job value (the "Ticket Size") that the Vendor reports when marking the lead as Closed Won:

Flat Fee — If the Ticket Size is less than $4,000.00, the Referral Fee is a flat $200.00.

Commission — If the Ticket Size is $4,000.00 or more, the Referral Fee is 5% of the Ticket Size.

For example, on a $2,000.00 job the Referral Fee is $200.00; on a $60,000.00 roof or solar installation the Referral Fee is 5% of $60,000.00, or $3,000.00.

The Ticket Size is the actual amount paid by the homeowner for the service performed. Pin to Pro calculates the Referral Fee automatically from the Ticket Size the Vendor reports.

6. Pin to Pro Platform Fee (10%)

In exchange for operating the platform, matching your leads to Vendors, and processing payouts, Pin to Pro collects a Platform Fee equal to 10% of your Referral Fee on every Closed Won lead.

This 10% Platform Fee is deducted automatically and taken out before any money reaches your available funds on the Pin to Pro app. You never owe more than your Referral Fee, and you never have to pay the Platform Fee out of pocket — it is simply withheld from each payout.

For example, on a $200.00 Referral Fee the Platform Fee is $20.00 and $180.00 is credited to your available balance. On a $3,000.00 Referral Fee (5% of a $60,000.00 job) the Platform Fee is $300.00 and $2,700.00 is credited to your available balance.

The split is always 90% to you and 10% to Pin to Pro, calculated from the Referral Fee — not from the Ticket Size. You receive the full 90% with no additional charges or hidden deductions.

7. How Payouts Work

Your earnings are paid out through Stripe Connect, a secure payment platform. Before you can receive funds, you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and link a valid bank account. This is done from the Earnings page in the Pin to Pro app after your account is approved.

Your earnings are not available immediately. A Referral Fee only becomes available to you after the Vendor approves the fee and pays it through Pin to Pro. Until the Vendor pays, the payout remains in a pending payment status and cannot be withdrawn.

Once the Vendor's payment is confirmed, 90% of the Referral Fee (after the 10% Platform Fee) is credited to your available balance. You can then transfer your available balance to your linked bank account from the Earnings page.

Transfers to your bank account are processed by Stripe and typically take a few business days to arrive. Pin to Pro does not control the exact timing of bank transfers once initiated.

You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings. The W-9 information you provide at signup is used for tax reporting, and Pin to Pro may issue the appropriate tax documents (such as a 1099) for earnings that meet reporting thresholds.

8. No Guarantee of Earnings

Pin to Pro does not guarantee any minimum number of leads, that any lead will result in a Closed Won job, or that any lead will reach a particular value. Your earnings depend on market conditions, homeowner demand, Vendor performance, and the quality and quantity of leads you submit.

A lead only generates a Referral Fee if the homeowner opts in, a Vendor closes a paid job, and the Vendor reports and pays the fee. Pin to Pro is not liable for a Vendor's failure to close a lead, misreport a job, or pay an owed fee, though we will make reasonable efforts to collect fees owed to you.

9. Integrity & Misconduct

Honest reporting is essential to the Pin to Pro network. You may not submit fabricated leads, collude with a Vendor to inflate or fabricate Ticket Sizes, or attempt to influence homeowner check-in surveys.

Pin to Pro sends follow-up check-in surveys to homeowners to verify that contact was made and work was performed. Homeowner survey responses are treated as a primary source of truth for lead-quality reconciliation.

Confirmed misconduct — including fabricated leads, survey interference, or misrepresentation — may result in integrity strikes, forfeiture of disputed earnings, suspension, or termination of your account.

10. Data & Privacy

You agree to handle all homeowner information you collect through Pin to Pro in accordance with applicable privacy laws and to use such information solely to submit leads through the platform. You must not retain homeowner data for unrelated marketing or share it outside the Pin to Pro network.

Pin to Pro collects and stores doorknocker and lead data to operate the platform. We may use aggregated, de-identified data for analytics and platform improvement.

11. Modifications to These Terms

Pin to Pro may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify active doorknockers and record the updated version. Continued submission of leads after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, you may contact Pin to Pro through the Contact page on our website.
